Network Operations Manager, Access Planning

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a seasoned Team Leader, Access & Outage Planning to lead our network operations team. This critical role will oversee the coordination and delivery of scheduled outages, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to our network.
About the RoleThis is a 3/2 hybrid split (three days in-office, two days working from home) based in our Flinders Street office. You'll be part of the Network Operations & Safety team and will have a significant impact on AusNet's critical infrastructure and Victoria's clean energy transition.
Main Responsibilities- Lead a team to manage outage schedules and coordinate network access
- Promote a positive, productive work environment through mentorship and coaching
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain high performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targets
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of five years in an operational or planning role
- At least two years in a leadership position, mentoring and developing team members
- Strong understanding of electricity distribution networks and compliance standards
