Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum

About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Network Development & Planning (Transmission) to join our Transmission - Network Development & Planning team at AusNet Services.


You will lead the development of transmission network asset renewal planning, including major station re-builds, and work closely with AEMO to ensure seamless integration with the national energy market.


As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing network investment proposals, including Regulatory Investment Tests (RITs), and publishing annual planning reports.


You will also provide strategic advice on network capacity and capability to internal stakeholders and other industry groups.


The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an Engineer within the electricity supply industry, with expertise in network planning, operations, and knowledge of National Electricity Rules.


They will also possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect with organisational strategy and identify what is required at a tactical level to achieve it.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of transmission network asset renewal planning, including major station re-builds

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as an Engineer within the electricity supply industry
  • Expertise in network planning, operations, and knowledge of National Electricity Rules
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor of Engineering in an appropriate field
