Student Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Support Officer to join our Academic Division at Queensland University of Technology (QUT). As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our students, academic staff, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level consultation and support to students, academic staff, and other key stakeholders across the university and externally.
- Work in a busy open enquiries space, as well as a shared office, and utilize mobile technologies to deliver services.
- Contribute to a culture where students, academics, and other stakeholders report that staff take the initiative to solve problems, make things happen, and deliver what they promise.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, academic staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Completion of a degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of professional, client service in a busy client-orientated environment, including the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and balance competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Good written and oral communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively with and provide excellent service to a diverse range of people in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to use intermediate functions of office technology software applications, including Microsoft Office, email, student/client management systems, and databases.
