Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Administration Officer to be part of our team at Ecaglobal. The role will be in our Sydney Campus office.

About the Role

The Student Administration Officer will have key responsibility to support the fee collection process and provide additional support across all student administration processes comprising compliance, non-engagement, academic progression, course completion, and any other related services for Ecaglobal. The role will involve planning and implementing fee collection activities for recovery of outstanding dues, including activation of payment plans and reporting for non-payment of fees, as per Ecaglobal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the fee collection process and provide additional support across all student administration processes.
  • Plan and implement fee collection activities for recovery of outstanding dues.
  • Activate payment plans and report for non-payment of fees.
  • Support compliance and quality assurance with maintenance of accurate and consistent data across systems.
  • Develop and implement processes as well as report to be compliant, in relation to student administration related functions.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with prompt and appropriate resolution for telephone, email, and face-to-face inquiries.
  • Provide communication and project support in relation to fees, compliance, and other student administration functions.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate stakeholder engagement for provision of continuous improvement in student administration services.
  • Process tasks with care and diligence to maintain accurate information for students in all relevant systems.
  • Assist with secretarial work including preparation and dissemination of agenda, minutes, reports, etc.
  • Undertake any additional tasks deemed appropriate to the role.

Requirements

  • Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience in the education sector.
  • Knowledge of the international student lifecycle, from commencement to graduation.
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, equity and workplace health and safety principles.
  • Outstanding team working skills
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
  • High-level planning, organising, and time management skills
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient ICT skills in the use Microsoft Suite with advanced level Excel and ability to quickly gain a working knowledge of student management databases and electronic systems.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 1 year in a similar role in the education sector.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with student management databases and electronic systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ESOS Act and associated legislation.
