About the Role

As the Operations Director for National Growth, you will play a pivotal part of OneSchool Global's National Leadership Team. Your role will involve developing, delivering, and evolving the school's strategy to ensure operational efficiency across its 20-country network.

Based at our state-of-the-art Head office at Sydney Olympic Park, you will oversee non-educational operations, including establishing standardised processes and platforms, workplace health and safety, uniforms, policies, events, and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Identify and lead the development and implementation of processes and policies to ensure consistency and alignment across the region.
  • Project Management: Undertake project management approaches to deliver results across the National operations portfolio, including developing uniform and effective volunteer bus driver induction systems, WHS auditing, and campus healthy food guidelines.
  • Collaboration and Governance: Facilitate periodic national operations meetings and attend Global Operations meetings to ensure effective governance and consultation in relation to decisions and strategic direction.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Provide regular reporting of key challenges and feedback to the National Executive Committee, National Management Team, and the Global Operations Manager.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and oversee the Facilities support team for the region, supporting events and ensuring uniforms remain fit-for-purpose and consistent with global standards.
  • WHS and Risk Platforms: Lead the implementation and maintenance of Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Risk platforms and policies.
  • National Communications: Lead the national Communications function in relation to departmental direction and communication needs of the school.
  • Student Transport: Lead the implementation and improvement of student transport processes regionally in line with the Global direction, including policies and procedures, safety, fleet management, auditing, reporting, training, and rostering.
  • Campus Security: Work in partnership with National MD and Operations Leads to ensure regional campuses are safe and secure for staff and students to attend in alignment with global policy standards.

About You

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Leader in any environment, with Education Sector experience beneficial.
  • Project Management: Strong Project and Change Management experience with capability to lead and deliver multiple projects at once.
  • Technical Skills: Adept with O365 tools and technically proficient.
  • Communication: Strong communicator and presenter at all levels.
  • Collaboration: Effective collaborator and team player with ability to build strong relationships and influence.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum
