The Role: Executive Director, Strategic Growth and Operations

This role is part of the Marketing and Corporate Affairs (MCA) team, responsible for driving CBA's brand and reputation through close collaboration with the business. The successful candidate will support the development and optimisation of MCA strategic priorities, track performance, and guide alignment between strategy and outcomes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading functional operations to ensure seamless execution of MCA's financial management and workforce activity
  • Representing MCA on specified Group projects, including software upgrades and recognition activities

In addition, you will be expected to:

  • Support the execution of a strategic planning process covering the 3-year Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Business Review
  • Develop a consolidated view of yearly and quarterly MCA strategic priorities, including assessment progress and performance metrics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivery, strategy, and planning or consulting
  • Previous experience in financial services within Marketing/Corporate Affairs or related industry ideal
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
  • Ability to solve complex problems, effectively manage and influence stakeholders

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is around $145,000 per annum, based on national averages for similar positions in the finance sector.
