Strategic Communications Manager for Energy Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our team at the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety. This role will play a key part in shaping the department's communications strategy and delivering high-quality information products that meet the needs of our target audience.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.

As a Strategic Communications Manager, you will be working closely with our communications team to develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the department's goals and objectives.

You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies that meet the needs of our target audience;

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments to ensure our communication strategies remain relevant and effective.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field;
- Proven experience in strategic communications, preferably in a government or regulatory agency;
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content for a variety of audiences;
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
