Sales Team Director

We're seeking a skilled Inside Sales Manager Lead to join our team at Tyro Payments Limited. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a high-performing inside sales team, driving success through effective management, strategic guidance, and team development.
About the RoleThe Inside Sales Manager Lead will oversee and lead a high-performing inside sales team, ensuring they meet their sales targets, foster a collaborative environment, and utilize tools and technologies to optimize performance. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, providing coaching and development, and ensuring efficient use of CRM and phone systems.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the inside sales team, including scheduling, training, performance management, and team development.
- Drive sales performance by setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing timely feedback to sales executives.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM and phone systems (e.g., AWS Connect) to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Implement and manage rostering and workforce planning tools (e.g., Verint) to optimize team efficiency and adherence.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to design and implement sales strategies that align with overall company objectives.
- Deliver training and support to ensure the team effectively manages the sales pipeline and achieves sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and report on team performance.
- Considerable experience in inside sales or tele-sales, with at least 2-3 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven experience using Salesforce CRM and phone systems such as AWS Connect.
- Experience with rostering and workforce management tools such as Verint is a plus.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record of leading successful sales teams.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales performance analysis and reporting.
- A competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum.
