Key Role in Driving Technology and Business Growth

The role of Digital Leadership Director, Australia is a key position within Team Lewis that provides strategic leadership to technology brands. This position plays a crucial part in the senior management team, ensuring profitable client service delivery.

The Digital Leadership Director will be responsible for driving business growth through developing client relationships locally and regionally. They will identify and sell additional services, directly impacting revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing strategic direction for Team Lewis AU's technology practice.
  • Working as a senior leader to ensure account profitability and optimize revenues.
  • Growing client revenues in line with account profitability and projects.
  • Driving proactive approaches to upselling services/projects and increasing retainer budgets.
  • Directing and managing strategic relationships with clients, providing insight and counsel across marketing and communications spectrum.
  • Taking responsibility for excellent client communication at all levels, defining KPIs, deadlines, and service agreements.
New Business Development
  • Leading new business process collaboration with Managing Director and senior team, making key decisions and selling Team Lewis credentials throughout tender process.
  • Leading credentials and pitches for technology-centric clients, developing strategic insight, messaging, and creative concepts.
  • Generating, identifying, and nurturing new business prospects and maximizing opportunities for new clients from extended network.
  • Responsible for programme pricing and proposals, ensuring fast turnaround of proposals to clients and prospects.
Content Creation and Management
  • Overseeing high-quality and engaging content creation, providing knowledgeable quality control and guidance to local office and regionally.
  • Working with clients to develop and implement impactful content strategies, delegating responsibilities to direct and wider team members where possible.
  • Collaborating with content specialists (where possible) to improve own and others' knowledge of content trends, driving commitment to excellent storytelling.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Taking overall leadership responsibility for their team, including coaching, supervision, assessment, and reviews of all team members.
  • Helping build a high-calibre, talented, and motivated team – nurturing and preserving the Team Lewis culture.
  • Sets strategic team objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Defining deliverable client objectives and setting standards of excellence for all client activity, driving commitment from all levels of the team.

About You

  • Highly commercial, with strong strategic client consultancy skills.
  • Creative thinking to provide solutions and solve problems.
  • Relevant experience working in B2B, corporate, communications agency environments at a Director or Head of level.
  • Proven experience of multi-tasking administrative projects through to completion.
  • Well-versed in social media and integrating digital marketing into wider communications landscape.
  • Able to provide consultancy on comms requirements and broader marketing strategy.
  • A track record of retention and profitable growth of existing accounts.
  • Demonstrable success at securing new business and increasing client revenues.

This role offers an estimated salary range of AUD $180,000 - AUD $220,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
