Product Category Manager

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and results-oriented individual to assume leadership of a critical product category.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in category management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

  • Assume end-to-end ownership of a key product category, responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies that drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth, improve processes, and optimize supply chain performance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure mutually beneficial agreements and ensure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and drive sales, leveraging data analytics and market research to inform decision-making.
  • Provide coaching and support to stores on product knowledge, merchandising, and customer engagement, ensuring consistency across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in category management, buying, or merchandise roles, with a strong understanding of retail operations and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to deliver commercial outcomes, including sales, margin, and income targets, through effective category planning and execution.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, with a focus on building strong relationships and securing mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights-driven recommendations.
