We are looking for a Category Growth Manager to drive the strategic direction and commercial performance of one of our most important product categories.

This role is pivotal to our success, sitting at the heart of our brand and product strategy, supplier partnerships, and customer experience. You will lead the development and execution of category strategies aligned with company growth targets, analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.

  • You will set the vision, identify growth opportunities through deep market and customer insight, and translate strategy into actionable plans that deliver measurable results.
  • You will be responsible for optimising assortment to strengthen our competitive position, collaborating with marketing to create compelling category campaigns and in-store experiences, and monitoring category performance and taking proactive action to hit sales, margin, and growth targets.

As a strategic thinker who thrives on blending data, creativity, and commercial acumen to deliver exceptional results, you will have the confidence to make data-led decisions and the adaptability to pivot when needed.

About the Role

  • You will develop and execute category strategies aligned with company growth targets.
  • You will partner with planning and supply teams to optimise inventory levels and avoid out-of-stocks.
  • You will ensure consistent execution across online and in-store merchandising, including planograms and product placement.

You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans, excellent negotiation skills and proven success managing supplier relationships, and experience working across multiple channels including digital, retail, and marketing partnerships.
