Product Category Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic thinker to drive the commercial performance of one of our key product categories.

This role requires a blend of data analysis, creativity, and commercial acumen to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will own and grow their category end-to-end, setting vision, identifying growth opportunities, and translating strategy into actionable plans.

  • Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure best terms, speed to market, promotional support, and trade spend.
  • Partner with planning and supply teams to optimise inventory levels and avoid out-of-stocks.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling category campaigns and in-store experiences.
  • Monitor category performance and take proactive action to hit sales, margin, and growth targets.
  • Ensure consistent execution across online and in-store merchandising, including planograms and product placement.
  • Use insights from customer and market data to continually refine and optimise the category.

The successful candidate will have a commercial mindset, analytical brain, and creative approach to identify opportunities. They will build strong relationships internally and externally, negotiate effectively, and make data-led decisions.

We're looking for someone with 5+ years' experience in merchandising, category management, or retail buying, with a track record of driving sales and margin growth through smart category strategies.
