About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Assessing Manager to join our team in Welshpool, WA. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers a great opportunity for career growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily motor assessing operations and repair management practices for assigned regions and teams. They will ensure consistent and effective solutions for members throughout the motor claims lifecycle and repair management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating workload distribution of motor assessing operations
  • Managing member complaints and implementing dispute resolution and complaints handling procedures
  • Assessing and developing initiatives to deliver continuous improvements
  • Couching and developing team members to ensure reliable and consistent claims management processes are delivered
  • Sourcing learning and development solutions to address skills and knowledge gaps

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in Automotive Body Repair Technology (panel beating/spray painting) or Automotive Mechanical Technology
  • Experience within the Motor Vehicle Assessing Industry, including motor insurance claims handling and motor repair assessment
  • Strong technical motor vehicle repair process knowledge and experience
  • Ability to manage a team in vehicle loss assessment and negotiate with various stakeholders
