Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of two direct reports and overseeing various financial aspects, including budgeting, cash flow reporting, and financial planning. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Oversee the preparation of monthly management reports, balance sheet reviews, and reconciliations.
  • Statutory Accounts and Tax Requirements: Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with tax requirements, including BAS, FBT, and GST.
  • Support to CFO: Provide 2IC support to the Chief Financial Officer on ad-hoc matters.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced finance professional with a strong background in commercial accounting or business services. The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A CA/CPA qualification.
  • Experience in leading small teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
