Technical Support Specialist for Network Infrastructure

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for hardware and software issues across our group.
Your duties will include:
- Managing and resolving helpdesk requests in a timely manner and recording outcomes in our ticketing system.
- Assisting in day-to-day system troubleshooting of user hardware and software problems.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Performing installations and software upgrades.
- Providing printer, laptop, and mobile device support.
- Assisting in coordination and implementation of system updates.
- Troubleshooting, administering, and upgrading LAN/WAN infrastructure to maintain speed, security, and integrity.
- Creating and managing user accounts and permissions.
- Managing Virtual Machine infrastructure.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Help desk support and network management role.
- Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365.
- Virtual infrastructure experience.
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology is highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work against multiple priorities.
- A high level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential information.
