About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our team at Mounties Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing first-line support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve helpdesk requests in a timely manner and record outcomes in our ticketing system.
- Assist in day-to-day system troubleshooting of user hardware and software problems.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Perform installations and software upgrades.
- Provide printer, laptop, and mobile device support.
- Assist in coordination and implementation of system updates.
- Troubleshoot, administer, and upgrade LAN/WAN infrastructure to maintain speed, security, and integrity.
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
- Manage Virtual Machine infrastructure.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT Help desk support and network management role.
- Knowledge and experience in Active Directory, Azure, Office 365.
- Virtual infrastructure experience.
- Relevant qualification in Information Technology is highly regarded.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced network diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and work against multiple priorities.
- High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential information.
