Customer Support Specialist

Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled Customer Support Representative to join our Construction Industries team in Mount Isa, Far North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Deploy marketing initiatives to demonstrate value and quality of business solutions.
- Manage customer satisfaction and positively influence equipment performance, maintenance, and repair costs.
- Communicate business initiatives and value delivery through regular meetings with key customer influencers.
- Assist with parts supply issues and identify potential market opportunities and threats.
- Provide parts commodity and service opportunity pipeline management to the Business for planning and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and equipment records in Hastings Deering's CRM System.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Minimum five years' experience in a customer-facing position, preferably in the heavy earthmoving industry.
- Demonstrated effective territory management experience and ability to manage a large customer base.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships.
- Knowledge of the Caterpillar product range is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Relevant trade qualifications are highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
