Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our products and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Define, develop, and implement clear sales and marketing strategies to drive sales revenue growth across the wholesale, retail, and food service sales channels.
  • Set Sales Targets: Define and set sales targets, and identify key performance measures to best drive sales revenue growth across the wholesale, retail, and food service sales channels.
  • Lead Sales and Marketing Team: Sourcing, recruiting, training, supervising, and performance managing sales and marketing staff to achieve sales targets and build solid customer relationships across key target markets.
  • Present Value Proposition: Attending sales meetings and presenting the value of our product suite, including identifying customer needs and goals, and offering solutions that best define how we can achieve them.
  • Optimize Sales Release Cycle: Developing, defining, and implementing sales release cycle methodologies to optimize sales take-up rates.
  • Support Sales Efforts: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to best support sales efforts by promoting our product suite to decision makers across each target customer segment.
  • Build Brand Awareness: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to build our brand and image as a world-class producer, processor, and distributor of premium quality food products, supported by positive customer testimonials.
  • Maximize Productivity: Developing and implementing front-end and back-end processes and procedures to maximize the productivity and performance of the sales and marketing function.
  • Measure and Evaluate: Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of sales methods, budgets, and results and making changes to optimize results.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree qualification and 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
