Cloud Sales Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Sales Representative to join our team at Oracle. As a Cloud Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling cloud services to customers and prospects, and for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, such as technical managers and sales engineers, to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Communicate the Oracle Cloud Value Proposition to customers and prospects, including the technical strategy of Gen 2.
  • Understand cloud business drivers and position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) competitive advantage.
  • Manage and close 40+ workloads in a fiscal year utilizing Oracle Sales Cloud.
Requirements:
  • BS or BA degree or applicable experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in selling software and cloud services, ranging from SMBs to Fortune 100.
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with customers and prospects.
  • Aggressive, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter.
Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree or applicable experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of direct software/IT sales (3 years+).
  • Excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills with customers and prospects.
  • Aggressive, strong organizational skills, and a self-starter.
