Perinatal Mental Health Clinician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Clinician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert care to parents and their infants experiencing mental health issues, leveraging their extensive knowledge of perinatal mental health.

The Perinatal Mental Health Service aims to deliver timely, intensive specialist support through direct patient care, home visits, clinic appointments, and in-reach services. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Psychology qualification, along with PsyBA registration and at least 8 years' experience post-qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health care for families with infants.
  • Excellent negotiation, decision-making, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting, applying advanced reasoning and independent professional judgment.
  • A current, unrestricted NSW driver's license and willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
