Perinatal Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Perinatal Mental Health Specialist. This role will involve providing specialist mental health support to women with moderate to severe mental health concerns during pregnancy and the first year of their baby's life.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering high-quality patient care: Providing case management and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for women from their second trimester until their baby reaches 12 months.
- Leading and collaborating: Working autonomously while contributing to a cohesive, multidisciplinary team.
- Driving service improvement: Developing best practices in perinatal mental health through education, consultation, and quality improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice and leadership within a defined specialty and contributing to care plan development for patients with complex health needs.
They will also contribute to strategic and operational planning within a clinical service and supporting specialty-related education programs and research integration into practice to improve outcomes.
