Seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in managing the company’s safety management system.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity reporting directly to the NSW Safety Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting work health and safety across four facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the National Safety Team and National Safety Manager in the management of the company safety management system (RamAusSMS).
  • Promote work health and safety across four facilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workplace health and safety.
  • Monitor and report on workplace incidents and near misses.
  • Provide training and education to staff on workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS are required, along with experience in Work Health and Safety and knowledge of relevant WHS legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective planning, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
