Safety and Workplace Wellbeing Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Safety and Workplace Wellbeing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering safety, health, and wellbeing initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to build engagement and education in safety, health, and wellbeing.
  • Support the continuous improvement of safety culture and reduction of workplace injuries.
  • Investigate, report, and manage on major incidents and analyze incident trends.
  • Provide a summary of findings to facility managers and ensure stakeholders adhere to safety management and related processes and systems.
  • On-call contact responsibilities for safety incidents.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, and wellbeing or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in successfully delivering safety, health, and wellbeing initiatives and programs.
  • Advanced writing skills for incident investigations and influencing and coaching skills to generate commitment to safety, health, and wellbeing improvements.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills while leading with care and drive active safety leadership.
