BevChain is a leading beverage supply chain solutions provider in Australia. As a National Commercial Growth Leader, you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth strategy.

Job Description:

The Commercial Manager - Business Development is responsible for providing commercial leadership, overseeing financial modelling and analysis, and ensuring seamless handovers from new business to operational teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development of BevChain's new business strategy and related planning processes.
  • Influencing and developing the broader commercial team to deliver new business growth objectives.
  • Overseeing financial modelling, analysis, and rate proposals to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Building and maintaining Bevchain standard pricing models and tools to support efficient customer engagement.
  • Establishing clear commercial handover protocols and contractual documentation to support a smooth transition to operations.
  • Providing commercial support for tender responses, contract negotiations, and customer meetings.
  • Monitoring competitor contract renewal status to identify opportunities 12–18 months in advance.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (CA/CPA desirable).
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain operations, with a proven track record of achievement.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, KPI performance review, reporting, and commercial modelling.
  • Experience preparing CAM models, business cases, and board papers for approval.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with customers and senior executives.
  • High-level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
