Regional Sales Director

As a key member of the Red Bull team, you will be responsible for leading our On Premise sales efforts in the NSW region. Your primary goal will be to drive profitable growth through engaging distribution partners, direct customers, and ensuring efficient route-to-market solutions.
About the Role- You will have overall responsibility for breaking down and implementing the national business plan in the NSW region.
- You will manage a team of 8-12 Sales Representatives, including 2 Field Coaches.
The Role Model: As the face of the brand in the market, you will be responsible for bringing the brand premium values to life as a role model for the entire team and the On Premise network.
- Be the credible voice of On Premise for the brand in the state.
- Ensure appropriate communication flow and knowledge transfer within the regional and national teams.
- Secure and optimize teamwork with all related business units.
The Team Leader: You will build and maintain a strong and highly effective team, leading and coaching all direct reports in a motivational way for increased productivity and engagement.
- Drive recruitment and development with sharp selection and retention.
- Take ownership of the regional training plan.
- Evaluate the skill level of the On Premise team on a permanent basis and adjust plans to reach targets.
The Strategic Operator: You will take full responsibility for the development and implementation of the regional On Trade business plan tailored to meet ambitious company goals.
- Continuously evaluate execution by spending time in field and by setting up appropriate KPI's.
- Manage team to drive horizontal as well as vertical growth.
The Business Manager: You will plan and continuously develop the geographical area and team structure including human resource evaluation and allocation.
- Manage and optimize available team resources, such as budget and Point of Sale material effectively.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years sales experience with a strong track record of success.
- 2+ years of people management experience (beverage preferred).
- Tertiary education in Business, Marketing or similar (preferred).
- Strong On Premise trade industry knowledge and established contacts in the hospitality and event scene - and/or the ability to establish these quickly and smoothly.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and other benefits.
This is a permanent full-time position with Red Bull Australia, meaning we can only consider Australian or New Zealand Citizens, or Permanent Residents.
