Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, builders, and end users. Your primary focus will be on obtaining project specifications, ensuring our solutions are included in project designs, and overseeing the process from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the interior fitout market.
- Cultivate strong relationships with (A&D) architects, designers, builders, and end users to secure project specifications.
- Generate and manage a pipeline of projects, ensuring steady business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand client needs and present tailored fitout solutions that meet their design and functional requirements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
- Oversee the entire project process, from initial specification through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the interior fitout, construction, or related industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the architecture, design, and construction communities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the interior fitout process, from design and specification to project completion.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
