Bid/Technical Sales Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid/Technical Sales Lead to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Australian Grid Technology Service team, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the energy sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building
- Tender Management
- Manage the tender process from initial contact to contract award, ensuring timely and effective delivery of proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams
- Proposal Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive proposals that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
- Ensure proposals are technically accurate, commercially viable, and aligned with company goals
- Project Management
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and partners to ensure seamless project execution
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in transmission service, including HVDC, FACTS, GIS, AIS, TX, CBs, etc.
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of transmission products, solutions, and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proven business development and tender management skills, with ability to drive growth and revenue
- Strong project management skills, with ability to lead and manage projects from initiation to closure
