About the Role

Ag 1 Source is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting and maximizing high-level sales and sales relationship management across the Australian market platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the livestock industry.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, ensuring they have a deep understanding of our products and services.
  • Collaborate with our Chief Revenue Officer to develop and implement sales and marketing programs.
  • Monitor and control expenses, as well as manage accounts receivable.
  • Travel extensively (50%+ of the time) to meet with customers and prospects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, or Agricultural Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of high-level B2B and B2C sales experience in the livestock industry.
  • Proven track record of success in long-cycle selling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, as well as speak effectively before groups.
  • Technical knowledge of the livestock nutrition industry, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
