This role is responsible for the strategic direction and supervision of food services, housekeeping, and contractors to deliver tailored, responsive customer-focused care to our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of innovative hospitality programs and services that meet the needs of veterans and seniors within our Home Care, Residential Care, and Retirement Living communities.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and safety in food services, housekeeping, and laundry operations.
- Manage and motivate a geographically dispersed team to provide high-quality catering, cleaning, and laundry services that exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure effective allocation of human, material, and financial resources to achieve planned goals and outcomes.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with outsourced suppliers, monitoring and managing them to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety regulations, Aged Care standards, and HACCP requirements.
About You:
- Proven experience in leading the development and delivery of hospitality programs and services within a Healthcare, Aged Care, or Hotelier organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and sustain a high-performing team within a multi-site organization.
- Strong financial acumen with experience performing effectively against operational budgets across multiple locations.
- Experience effectively managing compliance within a complex regulatory environment and knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to hospitality services within the Aged Care sector.
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions that balance customer experience, commercial outcomes, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams, managing performance, and employee wellbeing.
