Job SummaryThis role sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports directly to the Senior Manager (Product Owner – Everyday Spend). As a Strategic Business Partnership Development Manager, you'll lead the partnership with selected consumer brands, defining and delivering on strategies that drive business growth and foster strong relationships.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive partnership plans to drive business growth, including relationship management, marketing strategy definition, and campaign delivery.
- Liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including senior internal leaders and external partners, to ensure seamless collaboration and goal achievement.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and business opportunities to inform strategic decisions and optimize partnership performance.
- Manage contracts and negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements that align with business objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in loyalty program management, partnership development, and marketing strategy execution.
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial, partnership, or consumer loyalty environments, with a proven track record of driving business growth and developing successful partnerships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead new programs of work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with the ability to assess context, environment, and growth opportunities.
- Familiarity with loyalty programs and a strong understanding of the loyalty environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Passion for piloting new ideas and challenging traditional ways of thinking.
- Data literacy and analytical skills, with the ability to develop forecasts and business cases.
- Strong customer orientation focused on delivering enhanced experiences for partners and members.
- Commercial acumen to critically analyze opportunities and business context.
- Experience managing contracts and contract negotiations is desirable.
- A competitive salary of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
