Our organization is seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team.
About the RoleThis key business partner will work closely with senior leaders to advise on bid strategy and management. Responsibilities include coordinating kick-off meetings, writing, editing, designing/formatting, and reviewing input from subject matter experts. For priority opportunities, this role will collaborate with specialists to ensure high-quality end-to-end pursuit processes.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to a collaborative team culture across the national business development team
- Produce and manage high-quality engagement-specific and panel bids following our framework
- Counsel partners and pitch teams on achieving the best outcome for all bids managed
- Guide opportunity qualification (bid/no bid) in accordance with firm criteria
- Work with partners and subject matter experts to define compelling value propositions
- Write/rework quality content, proofread and edit content according to our tone of voice guidelines
- Apply our Corporate Visual Identity guidelines to ensure brand-compliant design and layout
- Support the effective management of ongoing panel arrangements
- Provide training and guidance to team members across the organization
- Contribute to our framework and pursue initiatives to enhance our business development capability
To be successful in this role, you will have approximately 7 years' experience in a similar role within a professional services environment. Self-awareness, strong project management skills, and excellent business writing and communication skills are essential.
