Key Bid Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Bid Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in preparing for future bids by equipping client teams to position, demonstrate value, and understand pursuit opportunities.

The successful candidate will contribute to strategic bid planning, including positioning, go/no-go decisions, win theme development, storyboarding, and feedback/lessons learned. They will also analyze, coordinate, write, and develop comprehensive PQQ/RFT/RFP responses incorporating specification requirements within strict timescales.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing and amending draft bids, considering feedback from peers, directors, and the Bid Manager. You will also coordinate input from bid partners, directors, technical experts, and the wider team to ensure consistency and coherence in final bids against scoring criteria.

As a Key Bid Coordinator, you will ensure bids are submitted for review through internal quality assurance and governance processes. You will extract key information from tenders and manage it in line with information management processes and internal feedback analysis procedures.

You will also analyze pipelines and opportunities to understand and report on trends. Additionally, you will support best practice training on bid process, structure, and quality. Finally, you will support Business Development with other activities as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in leading and writing successful bid submissions is essential.
  • You should have strong MS Office skills and IT literacy.
  • You must have organisational skills, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills are also required.
  • You must be able to adapt to changing priorities and respond flexibly to post demands.
  • A relevant degree in an Engineering discipline or Business, Marketing, English (list not exhaustive) is necessary.
  • APMP accreditation is advantageous.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of the Real Estate/Infrastructure/Construction sector (an advantage but not essential).
