Senior Business Development Manager: Driving Growth and Success

At My People Solutions, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our next stage of growth. As a key member of our team based in Melbourne's Southeast corridor, you will spend most of your time on the road across Melbourne, engaging with new and existing account customers and stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on providing timely solutions, building, and solidifying long-term relationships that generate new business across the target market.
We're looking for someone who excels in interpersonal, communication, relationship, and stakeholder management, and has 3+ years of experience as a senior business development manager in a B2B role. You'll need to have a track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Specifically:
- You will drive growth through innovative and creative approaches to engaging stakeholders, retaining, and growing account balances.
- You will maintain a confident and articulate communication style, presenting complex ideas in an engaging manner, and closing sales deals seamlessly.
In terms of qualifications, having a degree in marketing, business, or commerce is highly desirable. However, if you have experience working in IT or telecommunications, it's well-regarded but not essential. A current full driving license and national police check are also requirements.
This role comes with a competitive salary package, including a car allowance, laptop, mobile phone, and quarterly sales targets and commission payments. With an estimated annual salary of up to $150,000, this opportunity offers a great work-life balance, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
