Claims Management Specialist

About the Role
DXC Technology is seeking a skilled Claims Management Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) of injured workers in accordance with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers.
- Manage escalations and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide detailed explanations to clients on the calculation of PIAWE and the factors considered.
- Utilize problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry codes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on claims management activities.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in software applications relevant to claims management.
- Previous experience in customer service and administration, preferably in a workers compensation or related field.
- Ability to plan and organize work to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements and guidelines related to workers compensation.
- Ability to interpret payroll data, EBA's, and contracts of service.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
