DXC Claims Management is excited to commence operations in New South Wales, partnering with icare to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers.

With over 20 years of experience in worker's compensation claims management, this new opportunity exists to join a DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC's claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.

The Role
The Compensation Claims Specialist will be required to decide whether to accept or reject claims and transition claims to appropriate Case Managers for ongoing management. They will also calculate PIAWE, advise Dispute Resolutions Managers for the rationale for original decisions, and identify the recovery potential of claims.

Requirements



To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong working knowledge of the NSW Workers Compensation Act 1987 and associated Regulations and/or Legal Qualification
  • Two years or more experience in initial claims assessment (Case Manager), or one year or more in a paralegal or legal assistant position
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to interpret and implement decisions according to the rules and regulations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including negotiation and influencing with internal and external customers
  • Strong time management skills
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
