About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compensation Claims Specialist to join our team at 3001 DXC Technology Australia Pty Limited. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that injured workers receive fair and timely compensation for their work-related injuries.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE) calculations for injured workers. This will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and providers, to obtain necessary documentation and advise on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to provide detailed explanations of PIAWE calculations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry codes;
  • Manage escalations and complaints in a timely and effective manner;
  • Collaborate with claim stakeholders to advise on process, obtain necessary documentation, and provide outcome information;
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients on the status of their claims;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and reduce complaint levels.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of claims data;
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience with claims management software;
  • Previous experience in customer service and administration, with a focus on claims handling or related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaison with clients and other stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.

Your Salary

Based on market rates and your qualifications, we estimate your salary will be $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including performance bonuses, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive employee assistance program.
