Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Claims Portfolio Manager to join our team in NSW. As part of our Self Insurance team, you'll play a critical role in managing workers compensation claims and ensuring our injured team members receive the support they need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Determining ongoing liability on complex claims and working with stakeholders to achieve a fair outcome.
  • Facilitating collaboration between injured team members, treatment providers, and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in claims management.
  • Coordinating services that support our injured team members' return to work.
  • Managing external service providers and gathering information from stakeholders to effectively manage claims.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations.
  • Experience in claims management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Claims or electronic information management systems experience.
