About the Role

As an Economist graduate, you will contribute to informing decisions on policies that benefit the Australian people. This includes working on fiscal and monetary policies, budgetary policies, and forecasting economic changes.

The graduate program provides targeted training and development to enhance your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a valued member of the team.

We are primarily looking for graduates who have studied Economics and Econometrics, or those with related degrees who have a major or minor in Economics.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this program, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen.
  • Have or will have completed a Bachelor degree or higher by the given deadline.
  • Have completed your qualification within the specified timeframe.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance.
  • Be willing to undergo required checks.

The selection process typically includes an online application, testing, video interviews, assessment centres, and matching.

Most roles are based in Canberra, with some available in other cities and regional centres.
