Night Time Economy Project Officer - Local Council (Part-Time)

• Pay Rate: $67.27 per hour + Super
• Contract Length: 11 months
• Hours/Days: Part-time, 3 days per week (2 days in office, 1 day from home)

Randstad is seeking a motivated Project Officer to join a progressive local council in Bankstown. This is an exciting opportunity to drive initiatives that boost the vibrancy, safety, and economic vitality of key precincts, particularly those accredited under the NSW Government's Purple Flag Program.

In this role, you'll deliver and coordinate initiatives, lead precinct-based programs, and manage reporting for Purple Flag compliance. You'll collaborate closely with local businesses, community representatives, and external stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver and coordinate initiatives to enhance precinct vibrancy, safety, and economic vitality.
• Lead the implementation of precinct-based programs activating the night-time economy.
• Establish and manage working groups with local businesses and stakeholders.
• Coordinate ongoing evaluation and reporting for Purple Flag standards.
• Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare project plans, including budgeting and monitoring.
• Design and deliver marketing campaigns for Purple Flag accreditation.
• Engage and educate businesses involved in Purple Flag accreditation.
• Develop tools to monitor and report on Purple Flag initiatives.
• Review and report on economic data analytics.
• Present information to local community groups, businesses, stakeholders, and Council.
• Handle administrative duties as required.
  
  

Essential Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Digital Media, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and effective project management.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in an outcomes-focused team.
• Strong relationship-building and customer liaison skills.
• Flexibility for occasional after-hours and weekend work.
