Job Title: Director of Children's Education

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Director of Children's Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our childcare centre, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day activities, promoting a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children and staff.
  • Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities and educational programs.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement.
  • Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting its values.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of all children in care.
  • Assist with daily campus operations and room tasks such as activity preparation and mealtimes.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program, prioritizing each child's holistic development.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to other educators within the service.
  • Maintain ongoing records of children's development, program, and daily information.
  • Evaluate the quality of services in accordance with National Quality Standards and relevant Government Regulations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Minimum two years experience in a Centre Director role within an Early Childcare setting.
  • Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR.
  • National Police Check (within 6 months).
  • Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
