Kinexus is a specialist recruiter into the Defence and Federal government space, providing staff who have an impact on influential projects. We offer permanent and contract labour hire solutions to a range of clients Australia wide.

ROLE:

We are seeking a results-driven and strategic-thinking individual to oversee sales and growth in Canberra for our Defence and Government clients who utilise panels for their ICT and Technical labour hire.

Our expectation is that the successful candidate will open up existing relationships and identify new business opportunities to enhance our growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular client visits in Canberra to service our client's current and future workforce requirements
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identifying potential clients and prospective business opportunities
  • Collaborating with existing team members to enhance our company footprint

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of government labour hire panels, ideally in the ICT market
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of current laws, acts, and industrial awards
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Previous experience of working with Defence industry clients would be a distinct advantage
  • A current or previous Australian security clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • A current driver's license

The role will be self-sufficient, working from home in the ACT with visits to the Kinexus head office in Sydney as required.
