Business Development Manager Opportunity
Pathfinder Recruitment is excited to bring to market a Business Development Manager opportunity with a leading managed services provider. Dedicated to delivering innovative IT solutions to businesses across various industries, this role is largely relationship driven and will see you use your background and experience to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive market scan to identify potential prospects within existing relationships.
- Assess and follow up on sales leads and opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects, including projecting sales value opportunities and likely commitment timeframes.
- Research and qualify prospects, meticulously recording details into the PSA system.
- Negotiate and source quotations for prospects, prepare proposals, and coordinate the submission of tender documents.
- Facilitate peer-to-peer meetings between internal stakeholders and prospects.
- Effectively close deals and negotiate contracts, oversee execution with precision.
- Assist in sourcing potential resources to expand the business development team.
- Provide weekly status reports on opportunities.
- Ensure high-quality client onboarding experiences.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Deliver a target number of proposal presentations to prospects per month.
- Achieve an agreed rate of conversion from prospect to contracted client.
- Exemplify company values of Pride, Honesty, and Improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT sales/business development.
- A relevant Australian degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Proficiency in ConnectWise, MS Office, and other IT systems.
