About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our team at Zendesk, Inc. as a Sales Operations Lead. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a global function with a team of talented professionals who are passionate about sales and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute the sales strategy in the region, working closely with the Regional Sales Leader.
  • Devise, own, and continuously improve the operational rigor of the Sales division.
  • Be the SME for Zendesk's sales tech stack and the data that flows through it.
  • Work with the GTM Ops team to define, implement, and continuously improve the KPIs to measure the performance of the Sales organisation.
  • Define and constantly evolve and improve the Zendesk territory models to ensure optimal coverage across our markets.
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; proposing changes to systems and processes to accelerate our growth.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement team to identify and close key knowledge gaps through continuous training and development.
  • Own the execution of key business processes, chairing the forecast and demand generation processes.
  • Identify inefficiencies, implement solutions, and track progress around sales performance, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Document and share best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multi-billion turnover SaaS organisation.
  • A motivated self-starter with a passion for solving problems.
  • A numerate natural problem solver with experience using telemetry to drive business decisions.
  • Experience with data and visualisation covering SQL, BI tools, and SFDC data.
  • An entrepreneurial approach with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-growing organisation.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrated team-first attitude while being autonomous within your region.
