About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager at Visy, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and managing customer relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in packaging and recycling, with a focus on sustainability and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key customer accounts, focusing on retention and growth of existing business while meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets
- Develop new business opportunities to expand Visy's market presence in Melbourne's North & West regions
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer outcomes, resolve quality issues, and enhance processes
- Provide market intelligence to guide margin improvements, product innovation, and customer solutions
- Oversee cost efficiencies and ensure quality standards are met to drive customer satisfaction
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Proven experience in account management, B2B sales, or customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive results
- Commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, margins, and customer relationships
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
