About the Role
This strategic position will focus on developing new business relationships and managing supplier partnerships for our Plastics Sales division. The successful candidate will report to the Branch Sales Manager and be responsible for executing the business development strategy, which includes expanding existing customer bases and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with senior management, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and customers.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate and close deals.
- Manage supplier relations and ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the plastics industry.
- Proven track record of successful new business development in the plastics and packaging sector.
- Strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
