About Inland Rail Project:

  • Inland Rail is a transformative project that will connect Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
  • The project involves 39km of new rail corridor within the local government areas of Junee and Cootamundra-Gundagai.

We are seeking experienced Project Estimator Specialists to join our team based in Sydney, NSW, and work on major tenders for infrastructure projects.

About the Role:

  • COST PLAN / ESTIMATE PROJECT QUANTITIES AND COSTS IN PREPARATION OF MAJOR TENDERS ON A TIMELY AND COST-EFFECTIVE BASIS.
  • ESTABLISH TRADE COST CODE / WORK BREAKDOWN BUDGETS.
  • INTERPRET DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS, BRIEFS, SCOPES, AND STANDARDS AND ASSESS THEIR IMPACT ON PROJECT COSTS.

Key Requirements:

  • TERTIARY OR TRADE QUALIFICATIONS IN CONSTRUCTION, ENGINEERING, SCIENCE, QUANTITY SURVEYING, AND/OR PROJECT/CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT.
  • DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE WITHIN EITHER HEAD CONTRACTOR OR CONSULTANCY ON INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS.
  • STONG MEASUREMENT SKILLS AND EXPOSURE TO ESTIMATING PACKAGES.
