Project Estimator Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Project Estimator to join our dynamic team in Sydney or applicable Site Office. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering successful project opportunities for the NSW business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare accurate estimates and cost plans.
  • Manage cost and design variations, scope changes, and assist with pricing as required.
  • Develop strong commercial relationships with subcontractors.
  • Participate in post tender negotiations.
  • Stay attentive to market influences and trends, identifying key risks or opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • Prior experience in a Cost Planning or Estimating, tendering, or Quantity Surveying position within a large-scale commercial builder or related role in the construction industry.
  • Understanding of building codes and compliance.
  • Prior experience using Estimating software such as CostX.
