Senior Estimation Specialist Job Opportunity

Pursue a career with our organization and contribute to building better communities. As a Senior Estimation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading estimates and reviewing associated bid documents.

The role involves conducting detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine and validate overall project requirements. This includes ensuring the completion of full quantity take-offs of all labor, equipment, and materials from project documents.

Schedule management is crucial in this position; you will assist with bid document control by documenting, organizing, and archiving all information relating to the estimate for successful transfer to the project team.

To succeed in this role, you must be a strong relationship builder, developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including lead estimator, lead bid runner, subtrade partners, and suppliers.

You will also lead a small team, mentoring and coaching indirect reports. To be successful, you will establish a critical path schedule for the estimate/pursuit.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Proven experience as an estimator or in a related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
