We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing project cost estimation for both regulated and non-regulated business. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing estimating systems, databases, and tools to ensure the accuracy of project estimates.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial project estimating and extensive knowledge of the high voltage transmission industry, as well as a proven track record of success in project management and estimating.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling project estimation activities to maximize efficient use of resources and timely delivery of recommendations and reports.
  • Developing and implementing plans to mitigate output delivery risks.
  • Providing clear and concise performance analysis of scope, cost, timing, and risk estimation on completion of projects, focusing on improvement opportunities.
  • Supplying budget information and cost spreads for capital projects in the pre-delivery phase.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in commercial project estimating.
  • Extensive knowledge of the high voltage transmission industry and industry reform objectives.
  • Proven business acumen and planning skills in project management and estimating.
  • Ability to manage a team of technical specialists and professional staff effectively.
