Estimating Manager Opportunity

Lead the development of project estimates, spanning from initial take-offs to final cost assessments. Engage with business units, engineering teams, and operations departments.

Develop and mentor a high-performing estimating team. Lead through effective communication of priorities.

  • Transmission line and/or substation estimation specialist
  • Budgeting of renewable energy projects

Analysis of project requisites and specifications to devise cost estimates. Compile comprehensive project estimates by factoring in labor and material expenses.

  • Conduct quantity take-offs and cost computations based on project schematics and specifications
  • Evaluate and facilitate negotiations with vendors and subcontractors
  • Monitor project expenditures and update estimates as necessary

Prepare and deliver estimates to clients, addressing queries or concerns. Proficiency in tracking actual project costs against estimates.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate accounting of all project cost components.

About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years' experience as an Estimating Manager across the transmission line and substation sector in Australia

Proven ability in planning, multi-tasking, and delivering quality outcomes under pressure.
